Requirements
Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5pm
Key Responsibilities:
Process orders submitted via specific key customer portals onto our in-house system with a high degree of accuracy.
Liaise with our production, planning and warehouse teams to ensure timely despatch of orders.
Undertake general query management with third party hauliers ensuring delivery of key customer service level agreements (SLA’s).
Raise shipping notifications using supplier portals.
Obtain proof of delivery and issue invoices for delivered stock.
Receive and process complaints ensuring the resolutions are documented and communicated.
Work to tight timescales and deadlines to avoid penalty charges being issued against the business.
Raise credit notes and purchase orders (PO’s) in line with company process ensuring liaison with accounts to resolve any open queries.
Monitor open orders to ensure goods are being despatched in line with customer lead times, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
Maintain pricing schedules and associated assignments.
Establish and maintain documentation ensuring live order status information is accessible and meeting customer requirements.
Help to develop and maintain appropriate departmental procedures.
Provide support/cover within the Customer Relations team with processing orders and customer communications as and when required.
Experience:
Strong administrative background
Management of key customer end to end order processing
Conflict resolution and query management
Experience of working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
Experience within a telephony-based customer service role
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to organise and prioritise workload
Demonstrate flexibility, reliability and enthusiasm for the role
Proactive approach to problem solving and day to day tasks
Good keyboard skills and computer literacy – intermediate level of MS Office, specifically Excel
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
